AMENDMENTS AND PROPOSITIONS - THE BASICS

Special interests pay large sums of money to people who write these amendments in a way which causes people to support them, even though it is not in voters' best interests. These amendments are RARELY beneficial to our culture.  

Amendment 2 - Gambling Sports - Vote NO

Amendment 3 - Abortion - Vote NO 

Amendment 5 - Additional Gambling Boat Licenses - Vote NO 

Amendment 6 - Law Enforcement Salary Protection - Vote NO

Amendment 7 - Vote NO

Explanation: 

"Ban non-citizens' right to vote" - This amendment claims to remove illegals' right to vote- however, this is merely ballot candy as non-citizens are currently not allowed to vote in Missouri. 

Removes possibility for runoff elections - Runoff voting would be helpful because then the two highest-voted candidates are up for vote. We would be able to have a real election just between the two of them and it would truly be a people's choice versus having our elections manipulated by outside forces. This amendment threatens to ban runoff elections, which prevent local voters from having their say.
